UO community site, UltimaDot, has been removed from the UO Toolbar for being listed as suspicious by a Safe Browsing Advisory by Google. The UltimaDot web site has seemingly been abandoned by it's owner, and has since been reportedly attacked and infected with malware. What is the current listing status for ultima.rpgdot.com/? Site is listed as suspicious - visiting this web site may harm your computer. What happened when Google visited this site? Of the 64 pages we tested on the site over the past 90 days, 1 page(s) resulted in malicious software being downloaded and installed without user consent. The last time Google visited this site was on 08/05/2008, and the last time suspicious content was found on this site was on 07/30/2008. Malicious software includes 3 scripting exploit(s), 3 bot(s). Successful infection resulted in an average of 1 new processes on the target machine.

Brekkee, Stratics Community Lead for Stratics Network, has posted an announcement about a Change to the Stratics Rules of Conduct - August 5, 2008 on the Stratics Network Forums. Here is a reprint of Brekkee's announcement: Starting immediately we have implemented a new rule across the Stratics message forums.

*zigzag*, Stratics Communications Director & UO Associate Editor for Stratics Network, announced recently an upcoming policy change concerning the advertising of player to players sales of gold and other in-game items. Here is a reprint of *zigzag*'s IMPORTANT - Notice of upcoming change to Stratics network policy announcement made on the UO Stratics Forums: I wanted to give the Stratics UO community a heads-up regarding an upcoming change to our policy governing the posting of UO items for sale in return for real world currency.
In the past, UO Stratics has allowed people to use our forums as a medium to sell items for RL money via posts or links, and we have also allowed forum avatars and signatures to be used as a means to attract buyers and/or sellers.
This policy will soon be changing.
